- The experiment should yield favorable results, not unnecessary or pointless procedures
- Experiments should be based on results of animals experiments
- Avoid all unnecessary physical and mental injury
- Can't conduct if there is a reason to believe that injury or death may occur
- Risk should not be greater than the importance of the problem
- Proper preparations and adequate facilities
- Experiments should be conducted only by qualified scientific persons
- Subject can end experiments any time they wish
- Scientist should be prepared to end experiments at any stage(if injury is imminent)
